Arts Prep Program (formerly Community Arts and Music Program)
The ArtsPrep program of the Tri-C Performing Arts Division provides a clear pathway to success through the arts for students of all ages. ArtsPrep offers an affordable and accessible training in the arts, and assumes that all of its participants who remain in the program, regardless of artistic talent, will be fully prepared to enter the college of their choosing. By focusing on rigorous, professional training in the arts, ArtsPrep will develop confidence, mastery of craft, a sense of belonging on college campuses, and a strong expectation by students and their families alike that college is a necessary and expected chapter of each of their lives.
High School students who demonstrate the necessary commitment may be eligible to participate in the Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP), which allows them to receive college credit and lessons in their arts discipline for free.
