Photography
The Photography Program prepares students for the constantly evolving profession of photography. The creative and challenging curriculum is designed to help build the foundation of knowledge and skills necessary to express yourself using images. The program is a mix of digital imaging and traditional black and white photography courses including studio lighting, editorial and advertising photography, photojournalism and documentary practices, digital video, web design and interactive media courses. Experience is gained through frequent opportunities to interact with professionals during studio visits, guest lectures, portfolio reviews, workshops, internships and cooperative education opportunities. Our diverse and published faculty brings real-world, professional experience to the classroom. The facilities offer the latest equipment in an environment that encourages exploration of new technology, collaboration and conceptual thinking with an emphasis on undertanding the narrative possibilities of image making, Tri-C's program is recognized throughout Ohio for its commitment to the highest standards of photographic education.Tri-C offers an Associate of Applied Business degree in Visual Communication & Design with a concentration in Photography. Graduates are prepared for the following positions:

• Studio/location photographer
• Documentary photographer
• Photojournalist
• Photographic assistant

• Photographic retoucher
