If theatre is your passion, explore acting, both on stage and for the camera; study technical theatre, including scenic design, costume design, and lighting design; learn playwriting; or pursue a career in arts management. Whatever your theatrical interests, Tri-C's producation season is the curricular laboratory for its performance-based training programs, functioning as an integral extension of the training process. You can hone your skills in your areas of interest through classroom study, workshops, internships and involvement in college theatre productions, on stage and backstage. At the core of the Theatre major are the three "Cs": creativity, collaboration and community. Through inventive curricula and theatrical productions we help pave the way for tomorrow's theatre professionals. At Tri-C, theatre study teaches more than just acting. It inspires self-confidence, creativity, discipline and teamwork. You will learn practical and theoretical skills from professionals in the field in state-of-the-art facilities.Tri-C offers Associate of Arts degrees in Theatre Performance and Technical Theatre. Tri-C graduates are well on their way to obtaining positions in the following areas:
• Actor
• Director
• Playwright
• Script writer
With a four-year degree:
• Arts manager

• Set designer
• Lighting designer
• Teacher
